Wedding order service, home visits, prototype cards, hand delivery

 If you are interested in ordering wedding stationery from me, then you might like to know more about the service that is offered to all my Manx clients.

I will not pretend that my stationery is the cheapest available, in fact I have deliberately steered away from that. I am aiming for quality of both product and service. My cards are very detailed and made from the best quality components. All my work is hand made, but will not look 'home made', this is very important to me.

I am a one person operation and will prepare all your cards and their embellishments myself; even down to hand tying the bows. I therefore will only be able to accept a certain number of commissions to allow me the time to complete each card to my satisfaction, hence why I ask for as much notice as possible to arrange my diary. A minimum of six weeks is required in most circumstances.

If you didn't want something very special, you probably wouldn't still be reading this page. Here are some of the reasons why 'Handcrafted by Sarah' stationery might be the best choice for you!  

I offer a home visit service which gives us the opportunity to sit down and discuss your wedding ideas face to face. I will bring some of my sample cards, allowing you to see them first hand. You might know exactly what you want or you might consider some of my suggestions. Either way, a meeting allows me to get a really good idea of what you want and don't want.

The more information you can give me, the better, but I understand that at this point, you might not have final numbers etc

 If you decide to go ahead, I then design a prototype card or maybe a few different samples to your specifications, again allowing you to see it first hand and making any alterations before you commit to an order. At this stage I will also provide you with a quote, based on the design we have agreed on and the amount you wish to order. If you are happy with the design, then you place your order.  If not, there is no obligation to buy.

Should you place an order, I ask for a minimum deposit of 50% of the total cost. This is non-refundable should you change you mind for any reason. We will also arrange at this point when you would like to have your invitations ready for sending out.

I then make up your stationery order. If you order 'Save the Date' cards, these will be completed and returned to you as soon as possible as the whole idea is for you to send them out early.

Your order, whether in whole or in parts, will be hand delivered to your address. This gives you the opportunity to check your invitations to ensure you're happy with them. I also know that they have arrived with you in perfect condition this way. At this stage you will be asked to pay the balance of your invoice.

Just because you are not in the Isle of Man doesn't mean that you can't place an order if you like my work. Many Manx people who now live away from the Island like to bring a touch of home to their wedding day. Sadly the home consultation won't be possible, but if you are happy to have our discussion via telephone and e-mail, then I am sure we can still come up with a design to suit you. Thanks to the wonders of digital photography, I can take close ups of your card and e-mail them to you for approval.

If you proceed with an order, I can post your completed invitations to you by insured mail and in VERY good packaging.
